We are in the middle of recovering from severe storm damage and have been approved to replace the 8 surround speakers (4 each side) in one of the auditoriums.
The auditorium dimensions are 35'w x 74'd. What brand/model of surround would you suggest to meet the cuurent needs? We had University Sound Interface Series 2 (bookshelf looking) speakers previously. Interface PDF

Do a bit of digging and you'll easily come up with some JBL 8330 or 8340 speakers for about $200-300 each.
QSC's surround speakers are great too.

8330's and 8340's can be found used for $125-$150 each. Tri-State Theater Supply in Memphis usually has them in stock.

Buy new ones. They come with free freight if the order is big enough. Price if you consider freight is not very different. And remember the surround speakers are visible. Louis
