Hello, I could spend a great deal of time explaining whats going on however I took a video of the issue. This has never happened in my time here (14 years). Thoughts?

As you can see the final sprocket is spinning too slow. Belts are all perfect. Thank you in advance for your assistance.
The film in the projector is a bunch of trailers spliced together. The "ding" at the end of the recording is me hitting the drop light behind me.

Have you checked the sprocket to see if it is correctly attached to the shaft? Or if the shaft is correctly attached to the gear? It looks like something is spinning but not getting a grip.

The sprocket is tight on the lower shaft, however upon further investigation the shaft can spin freely without causing the other sprockets to turn.
EDIT: Problem solved after removing our heads from our .... well you get it. thanks. (dam set screw)

Good call Martin.
I had one of those events on a Simplex when the Altec tech forgot to tighten the screw on a gear when he replaced the shaft in the sound head.
Very frightening when you have a theatre full of customers.

I take it this is an existing system and not one you just installed or assembled. If you need any more of them for parts I just pulled out two of them in Elko, NV. The last two Pro 35's I had to service... One was a very good runner, the other a very good leaker. You could probably go haul them away...

One of he few blessings of the Digital age; removing that which so desperately needs to be removed! Louis

I couldn't agree more Louis!! I always questioned the "Pro" aspect of the name.

What? Another machine that could have the term "Valdez" added to its name?
