It's with sadness that I announce Mr. Charlie Achee passed away last night at the young age of 85. Charlie was a technician, salesman, manager with National Cinema Supply and then President of National Cinema Service from February 1, 1988 - December 31, 2004. Charlie had spent six decades working in our industry. He was my boss and mentor for those 16 years at NCS.

So sorry to hear this. He was quite the class act and always cool under fire. We did a lot of business together.

He even spoke kindly to me after I recruited his two best young techs for Dolby Labs.

He did a have a flair being a Cajun from New Orleans.
