Hello,
Today I have used my first DCM10. I am familiar with DCM1-2-3, but this was my first time with the new series (not really new, I know).
I had familiarised with the software before, offline. I upgraded the firmware - as requested - and starting working on the sound.
Half way through I decided to write the job on the flash memory and the processor came out with an error, something like "flash writing error". At that point all the AMPS LEDs were flashing on the front panel, and I had to reboot the unit.
I immediately saved the settings on a file of course.
When rebooted, I found that all my settings had actually been saved. Tried again, but got an error again.
I managed to have a "update complete" message after a few tries. I also tried using my WIN32 netbook, I thought that my Windows 7 64bit could be guilty.
Eventually everything was fine, but I still had the same error message.
Is there anything wrong with the unit, is it a known issue, or is there a workaround for it?
The software version used was the latest downloadable from qsc.com.
Thanks and regards,
Marco
