My CP500 has ztarted producing extraneous low-frequency sounds in the left, center, and right channels when digital sound is playing. It doesn't appear to be in the subwoofer channel, though. When the silent green rating strip on a trailei goes through, the rumble stops. What could be causing this?

I believe one can request a kdm that will not have the audio watermarking and the evils it brings.

What is the error rate displaying when you are getting this rumble?

You may have a bad card in the CP500....I have a complete set of the ones to do Dolby digital film sound if you want to get the set for spares/testing, PM me for info.

We are using it on film. The error rate is 3 ta 4.

Which card is likely to be causing ohe problem?

I have two CP500s that had been discarded by a ciruit, and were given to me for parts to repalr a different problem. A Cat. 673, a Cat. 684, and the power supply had to be changed to fix the problem. It was after changing these items that the low-freq. rumble problem developed.

I may need to borrow your cards.
