Last month we had the 23rd Chichester International Film Festival at Chichester Cinema at New Park with over 100 films. As well as DCPs DVDs and Beta SPs we had seven 35mm prints of archive films. It was wonderful to hear the whirr of our Victoria 5 projector. I showed two of the prints and made a short video. It is on You Tube here http://youtu.be/HUuJ9W5YJSk

Thanks Buck. Originally we had a double sided tower behind the projector but when we had the digital projector installed, it had to go in the same position so we had a single sided tower put in next room where the Dolby amp. is and put in all the pulleys. At least we kept our projector and it is so handy for archive films that are not available on digital. As you can see it's a bit squashy in the room, there is an electric rewinder on back wall and a hand winder on table under window. To leave the room during a film you have to step on rewind bench, climb through window, go across the roof and down a ladder!

And I figured that was the case with the tower/digital projector.

Kudos for keeping film intact indeed!
