Bob was a good friend and someone that I owe much of my success in this Business to. Bob was also good friends with Dick Prather and a slew of other people. He always had good stories to tell from his Boeing days and others from doing theater work. His interest in Western Electric stuff never ceased and we had a discussion on the phone about that just last week...

Perhaps at the top of my list as one of the most likable and genuine people in the industry!! Met him through Dick Prather over 40 years ago. Had many interactions through the years trading old stuff around. My heartfelt condolences to the entire family, another legend passes on, I will miss him!! John

He was the real deal. One always knew where they stood with Bob. We became very good friends in my early days at Dolby around 1980. He was one of my favorite reasons to go to Seattle and always went someplace fabulous to eat with his awesome wife Elia. A very classy family all around.

Times are changing fast.

I was going to visit Bob last Thursday, so called him from Boise late Wednesday afternoon and Elia answered, said Bob was unconscious and dying.

Among Bob's stories was seeing "Bawana Devil" in 3-D in Bogata, Columbia, while stationed there as a U.S. Marine. We've lost an energetic and generous Gentleman. We've lost a friend.
