Here's a longshot. I'm looking for 35mm and 16mm audio bloop tape. Does anyone know of a supplier? Or do any of you have some that you'd be willing to part with? Thank you.

Don't know if you'll actually be able to find any blooping tape.
Many years ago, I remember buying a type of ink or dye to accomplish the
same purpose. I don't remember what it was called, but I got it at a large
photographic supply house in New York, and its' actual purpose was for
retouching or masking sections of Black & White negatives used for photos
or lithographic printing. But I don't know if they even manufacture that stuff
anymore now that everything has "gone digital".

Motion Picture Enterprises in New York 212-245-0969 may be able to source it. You can also bloop with India ink....last time I blooped anything was for a low budget film 40 years ago.

The advantage of tape is that it can be removed.

The India or Acetate opaque inks used for engineering drawings in years past work well but are waterproof and permanent.

In a tight pinch you might use automation metal cue tape if the removable feature is important and you are not playing the film on automated equipment that might read the tape as a cue.

Maybe a body shop pinstripe supplier where they carry tonnage of pinstripe in various widths.
