Has anyone successfully used a standard mag penthouse on top of a PK60D? Should the frame spacing (26 frames) between the mag p/u and the aperture be the same?

Well, that's really going to depend on the actual penthouse being used as they are all different and had different spacers available for different projector heads so things would be in sync. You will just have to mount which ever one you are using and see how close it lines up. Then have someone machine a simple spacer to move it up the correct height if need be. I doubt the spacing, even on the PK-60D, is going to end up being too much as it sits.

Hopefully you have the Kinoton manufactured penthouse so it just bolts right on... [Big Grin]

Yeah, I think you are going to need to experiment there (and I think 28 frames is dead sync). Note, in addition to spacing, altering the film path with a roller to deflect the film can be used too. Most of the bolt-on penthouses I've worked with didn't use the reel arm holes but the fire roller attachment holes so you'll have an adapter to fabricate first.
