I have a 2000W lamphouse with a 1000WHSC lamp. What do I need to convert to either 1600 watt lamps or 2000 watt lamps?

Nothing. The 2KW lamp is.a special one that is/was available from the Osram, ASL and perhaps Philips. They all use the 5/16" screw in base.

Correct. Length wise, they are all the same lamp.
