Hello everyone,

The last 35mm projection in my town was in 2012 and this projector was used for it. I've been working on it for the past couple of weeks and managed to run it. It works great, but I'd like to be able to maintain it properly.

Can somebody tell me what kind of oil can be used with this projector? I think I won't be able to find original manufacturer's oil here in my country; maybe there's an alternative solution for this?

The forum and site have already helped me a lot with the projector and 35mm projection in general. Thank you guys.

Hello Benjamin

As far as I know, as I was told by some technicians and did so myself, normal Motoroil 15W40 can be used. But be carefull not to use synthetic oil as the additives may damage the sealing of the gear.
If you have further questions about the Meo 5 don´t bother asking me.
