Can anyone share the steps taken to avoid all of the 500's request for mike readings allowing me to pull up the subwoofer output screen? The screen shows an error based on "Input Too Low". I've always heard there's a back door that will allow a subwoofer adjustment the same way the screen channels are adjusted. I've followed instructions from the Installers Manual sections 5-12 to 5-14 but the "input Too Low" continues to show up.

Hi Don
when the CP500 wants you to input the calib rated SPL,you turn it all the way down.I think it stops at 45dB,if I remember correct, then it will work, and not come out with the input too low statement

First time I got stuck there I hooked up a standard microphone (I think it came from an old telephone answering machine in the booth) to the CP500 and made a lot of noise with my mouth. Then I was allowed to continue :-)

Allan you win the daily double. Those instructions worked perfectly. Thank you very much!!
Now we all know how to beat the system.
