I have a correctly calibrated DTS-6AD processor with all channels' software levels set for unity gain and the channel output level controls set to 300mv using the DTS 5.1 Channel Setup Disc calibration procedure. With 300mv input on the External 6-track inputs, the processor output is also 300mv on all channels-unity gain in to out. However, when the 6AD outputs either from a film DTS digital(disc)or DTS analog audio source, the output level is 6dB-8dB above the level of 300mv calibrated source audio from either a CP200 or CP650 on the External 6-track inputs. The discrepancy can be corrected using the "automation trim" feature on the DTS internal analog and digital film channels but this does not seem that it should be necessary with the universal unity gain setup. Has anyone dealt with this issue? Mr. Schulz? Thank you.
