Do you mean the Align-O-Tron? If so, I can look at it and its power supply and let you know tomorrow.

Hi Paul. It's actually different than the alignotron but I just found and old post about it. It's 6VDC center pin negative. Thanks anyway.

It's a Kinoton alignment Beamer that uses an incandescent bull in a lens barrel type device with a pin hole aperture and a green filter (not sure if they were all green and not sure if they didn't create a LES version. The one I use isn't LED)

Cool trick is to leave the alignment Beamer in and insert the lamp. LEAVING THE LAMP OFF you can focus the lamp almost exactly be watching the green "plasma ball" inside the lamp generated by the Beamer and placing it exactly at the tip of the cathode.

I made my own version of the Kinoton tool. I found much more effective than the align-o-tron. The latter gives a few things for granted that the Kinoton tool does not.

I actually used both a laser and the kinoton tool. The laser is great for shooting straight line so I would use that to get the centers of everything lined up (lens mount to gate to anode support to center of reflector.

The Kinoton tool is great for aligning the reflector and checking working distance as you can see exactly how the light is coming back. One never had to tweak it afterwards either...it was always as good as you were going to get and rather even.

Ours is the original with the uncolored white light.
