About a month or so ago I saw in an article I was reading that a company had come out with a 16 MM "tower". It was using a 16MM feature reel on a tower setup, one side was a feed the other was take up. It could be used with any table top projector. If anyone knows what I'm talking about please contact me.
Thanks

Mike

Mike, A very common long play unit is the Eiki or Elf 16mm long play unit.
Cannot work out how to post a link here but if you do a Google search on Eiki 16mm long play unit quite a few listings will come up some even with videos of them in use.
I have used one many times in the past and they were very easy to use and gentle on film. From time to time they pop up on Ebay but get snapped up rather quickly.

Atlantic Audio Visual also made a long play unit that a 16mm projector sat in the middle of with a added 450 vertical xenon lamp mounted above it
They were available with Bell and Howell Singer(graflex) and Kalart projectors
Elmo also made a stand alone unit

I have one of those Eiki Units. I used it once about 10 years ago.
