Hello All!

Not sure if anyone knows but I have a DFP-D3000 but the passwords have been changed and the original owner does not remember what they are.

I have tried the regular password SDDS and SONY

Is there a work around?

Thanks all!

Best bet is to try to reach out to Sony for an answer...but since SDDS is a "dead" format you might not be able to get an answer. (Sony's support on ANYTHING has been, to be polite in my choice of words, ..I can't think of a polite way so I'll say it sucked.)

But maybe one of the guys on here who worked a lot with SDDS may have an answer.

My experience with the SDDS system involved tearing them out and throwing them in the dumpster after my locations got tired of dealing with all of the idiosyncrasies they have. [Big Grin]

A couple of my German friends still love the system and likely have the answer to this, its been way too long ago for me... I used to run into this all the time where my boss could not remember the password he put in and yes, through the control software, and I believe a certain conbination of holding down the front panel keys, you can reset the password.
