My wife and I are currently working very hard to realize our dream of opening our very own theatre.

I worked as a mangager of the Rogers Cinema in Wausau, WI shortly before it closed. That was some time ago... and my skills are a bit rusty. Having not been actively working with film and equipment, I've been dulled, to say the least.

Not to mention, I was given a couple week "crash course" in the business before I took over the theatre and some things were skimped on or deglected entirely. Would you ever have designated a duty like changing a Xenon bulb to some guy who just learned how to thread a projector a week ago? I had that task... didn't even know what a Xenon bulb was. Much less the cost of one.

For as crazy and hectic as my experience there was, I absolutely loved it. As such, I want to do it the right way. Learn the industry from the inside from someone who's willing to devote some time in trade for an eager, quick-to-learn, dedicated, (and cheap... can you say free?) worker.

Honestly, the experience in of itself is all I'm looking for. Just some hands-on and advice from a "master".

I'd be available alternating Saturdays and every Sunday.

So... is anybody interested in taking a chance and showing a new guy the ropes? Feel free to reply here, send me an e-mail or PM if you are.

Thank You.
