Cinelux Theatres is currently accepting resumes for full and part-time Assistant Manager positions at our Chabot Theatre in Castro Valley and other SF Bay Area locations. Working in a multi point-of-service environment, our ideal candidates will be those who thrive in a high energy, fast paced atmosphere and are committed to providing superior guest service.

Reporting directly to the General Manager of the theatre, the Assistant Manager is an integral member of our team. This position requires a driven, hard-working individual with strong team building and coaching skills. Primary responsibilities will include managing and motivating staff; ensuring an outstanding movie going experience for every guest, meeting sales, operational and performance goals; working within payroll budgets, cost and inventory control, ordering product, maintaining the facility, projection booth operation.

Qualified candidates should meet the following requirements:
• Have a minimum of 6 months management/supervisory experience in a guest-focused, high-volume business (retail, restaurant, hospitality, etc.).
• Have weekend, night and holiday hours/shift availability (required).
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Accurate math and cash handling skills
• Proficient in MS Office and ability to learn ticketing software.
• Ability to stand, walk, lift, twist, reach and bend on a frequent basis.
• Must enjoy working and interacting with guests.
