former film technician for NCS/Strong located in New England looking for an entry level position to learn to troubleshoot, repair, and install Digital Cinema equipment. Formerly attended Dolby School, maintained a service territory spanning f o South of Boston to the Vermont and Maine borders in N.H. and traveled for 35mm installs.
I also have experience as the full time assistant technical director at the School of Visual Arts in Manhattan, New York. A multi use facility utilizing professional lighting, sound reinforcement, 35 and 70mm projection systems, digicam, betacam, and a series 1 DLP (NEC 1600). Responsibilities included planning, directing, and acting as a crew member for shows. Also acted as in house projection and sound technician. Also was responsible for running and overseeing many New York City premieres and film festivals on both changeover and DLP.
Most recently spent the last six years owning and operating two family businesses in the transportation industry managing revenues of 2+ million per year.
