Sam, It looks like an older (no DD era) pro-logic home processor-preamp, with dsp modes. Do you own it or its just a pic.
I can not tell the brand though.

Nah, I found it on Ebay and according to what I am told it has 6 20Watt amps in it as well as the Dolby Processor.
Thought it might make a good amp to connect my CP50 to.

Nah, you can do much better with a CP50 and good amps than you can using a CP50 and this thing for amplification.

Yep,
I'm pretty sure of that as I can't find any documentation for this rig. 20Watts per channel is not good enough for me. I just liked it because of its size.

P.S. I just recieved my first bottle of "FILMGUARD". This stuff isn't going to eat the skin off my bones will it?

that's odd as most HT receivers have 5 channels of amplification unless it has EX-ES capabilities.
