I want those cool black Amaray boxes. Anyone know where I can buy them? I would think that one could buy them being as CD jewel cases (does anyone actually keep their jewels in these?) are super easy to find.

AOL gives them out for the taking. Just head into an Office Depot and tell them you would like to try AOL on each and every one of your 500 computers with 500,000,000,000,000,000,000 hours FREE (during the first 30 days).

I just picked up a few AOL disks, but now they are putting them in a cool metal can.... 
Hey, did anyone ever consider that there are only 720 hours in a 30 day month? How in the hell can you get 1,000 hours out of that unless you sign in through the back door under another screen name to check your email?
AOL won't let you stay signed on for 30 days without getting booted unless you have Film-Tech brought up in Microshaft Internet Explorer...

Actually, I just picked 3 up from Walmart the other day. They don't sell blank discs but they sell those...go figure.

Paul, I remember hearing AOL was getting sued by someone for false advertising who wanted that many free hours (as you said, far more than is in a month's timeframe). John Pytlak probably has a link to the case.

I've seen them at Good Guys A/V in packs of five. You could also check Circuit City or Best Buy. I have one from an AOL disc that i'm keeping just in case...

Wal-Mart tends to carry the AOL discs in flimsy sleeves, but places like Office Depot and all of the AOL discs I keep getting in the mail come in actual DVD boxes like you pictured above.

I have a stack of those DVD cases (and the smaller ones Joe is talking about) that AOL sent me in the mail. The only problem with them is that the mailing address label is impossible to remove.Now when the CDs come, they're simply shrinkwrapped to a piece of cardboard. AOL should just send their software on CD-RWs. That way, they can at least be re-used instead of filling up landfills or littering streets. I still remember re-formatting a stack of AOL disks with a piece of tape over the write-protect hole back in the day.

Hey Joe....did you see those cases Dolby Laboratories is using for their software CD's? They look like toilet seats, and you can raise and lower the lids....just like everyone does with toilet seats. (sometimes)oooooOOOOOOOoooooo.....Ray Dolby and Lonnie Jennings ain't gonna like that comment.
DTS uses square toilet seats. (Hi Karen) How's your "B" stock?
Thomas, I have done the same as you have.....and it yielded a whole outhouse full of floppy disks. I was just to cheap to buy any.
