Which are good video rental stores and which are to be avoided?
I hear Blockbuster have censored and "full screen" versions of films. I don`t want that, of yourse.
Which video stores have the original uncensored versons and aspect ratios? Is Hollywood videos a good chain?

I've had good experiences with ETS, TES and NFS. Unfortuantely NFS went out of business, so this leaves you with ETS and TES for your movie rentals.

Michael, I would highly recommend Netflix. Their selection and service is unparalleled by any storefront video rental outlet I have been to.

Sorry Michael. It's been about between 5 and 10 years since I last rented a video of any format. If it was good enough of a movie I'll just buy a DVD.

Usually there will be an independent video store(a rarity these days) somewhere in a city like San Diego. Pick up the yellow pages and look for video rentals. Then visit them and decide which one suits your taste.

So Michael, you moved to the U.S.?

Here in New York City, Kim's Video is one that stocks the best in everything. They have the standard America stuff and one of the best in World cinema. There is two, other store in the Village area that have very good video stocks.
