I have these 2 Acoustic-Research AR12C's (floorstanding, 10" woofers, very l33t) that my dad purchased back in the day. They're around 25 years old, and of course that means the speakers need repair, at least mine do. I tried to refoam the woofers, but one of them I believe wasn't centered correctly, and it distorts bass when enough watts are pushing through it.

Also, the tweeters no longer work. No sound even if I unwire them from the crossover and directly to the receiver (Sansui G-7700, vintage as well!)

So my question is, does anyone know where I can get my tweeters replaced/repaired? I've tried looking online, but I've had no luck. Help me Obi-Wan Kenobi, you're my only hope!

You might want to place a call to Freeman Tuell speaker repair here in Dallas, Texas. They have been of great service to me in the vintage speaker field. They handle all aspects of speaker repair. They don't come cheap but if you want the best!!!

Their phone number is 214-324-1132.
