It's a rather good Walter Matthau film from the 70s.

I've tried to watch it a couple of times when it's been on TV but they always put it on at 2am and I fall asleep. Help me out, anyone know how it ends?

Matthau ends up having a heart attack during the rehersal for the tv special cause George Burns does the spitting and poking so they argue. Once out of the hospital, Matthau thinks that George is coming to apologize and they end up sorta getting along and Matthau's nephew offer him to either move in with him and his wife or to the old actors home, he chooses the old actors home. During Georges visit Matthau learns that George is also going to move to the old actors home cause his daughter is going to have another baby and they need his room. I just watched a print of this. Really enjoy it, reminds me of the grumpy old men movies.

The original casting for the movie had Jack Benny in the George Burns part. But he died before production.
