Stick with the one-disc edition. The two-disc is rather disappointing:

A few deleted scenes
A career profile of Scorsese (mildly interesting)
A mini-documentary about a real Boston mobster
A mini-documentary about mobster culture

Yawn. Save your money, unless you adore Scorsese and/or absolutely must have the Best buy exclusive tin case. [puke]
