I just saw this on DVD ... I noticed several places were there was that 'digital blur' during running / camera panning scenes. Also, some night scenes (such as when they are chasing the guy with torches) was very 'digital-grainy'. Overall, the quality of the digital cameras were impressive, but still (at present) have a little more ways to go to match 35mm.

Liked it, but agree with others in that it's more of an action film, than a social statement-type film.

But you saw it on standard DVD dude! What kind of monitor? Maybe it was something in YOUR setup rather than the movie. Maybe check it out on Blu-Ray with a high quality monitor and see what you think.

Yes; good point; I watched it on a regular DVD. But, it's the first time I'd seen this even though I've watched other digitally-generated films. I guess I make it seem like the photography was bad, but it's not. Except for those few examples, it was very good, but you could tell right away it was digital.
