I've got the first 3 disc sets of THE THREE STOOGES now, and the seventh disc set with Shemp with the 3D shorts.

How am I supposed to set up the big Sony in the living room to look good in this wonderful old 3D system? Theres nothing on the disc for tint adjustments!

It looks fairly good on my DVD player on my computer when I sit about 5 feet away from the 19" screen.

I have trouble, though, with everything looking green thru the glasses. Sometimes, I think it's just me. Could be!

Any suggestions?

A Video Essentials disc will help to calibrate your picture (and sound if you like) to more optimal settings. Some 3D discs have a test file you can use to do a more basic but typically effective set up. I think this disc from the 3D World Film Expo has something like that in it but I am not certain...haven't looked at mine in years...but I do remember that the 3D trailers looked suprisingly good for anaglyph TV. Seems like their online store is down but maybe you could find a copy somewhere.

I worked at a TV station back in the 1980's that ran the 1954 film, GORILLA AT LARGE in 3D. I cant remember the glasses they used, but, do remember the station running a test set-up so the viewers could adjust the tint on their sets so that the 3D effect might look a bit better. I never thought it was such a big deal.

My Stooge disc has nothing for set-up.

The problem from the start is that Sony used the ersatz magenta/green system.
