Warner Brothers announced that it will stop shipping to stores all Harry Potter DVDs and Blu-rays on Dec. 29th, 2011. The studio will employ a similar strategy like Disney has done with their films, by re-releasing the movies in theatres in tricked out versions for a limited time. The new moratorium will not apply to digital copies or Video on Demand.
