This coming Friday the IMAX theatre in Munich is up for auction.

This was one of the most successful IMAX theatres in the world with annual attendances in excess of 1 million people.

The pdf is a list of auction lots and the file labelled Bild contains some pics.

The system is the original 3D type system with 2 large single rotor projectors that move apart for threading and back together for projection. Like a mega SR [Big Grin]

Word is that the whole projection and sound system plus at least one DP70 ,CP200 and a whole lotof other stuff went for 180,000 Euros about $237k US
