Correct me if I'm wrong, are these the correct steps to align a fresh bulb for the NECs, X--->Y--->Z peak readings of which axis from the readings in the peak hold measurements on the projector software and repeat the sequence one more time.

I thought the auto bulb alignment was an optional item. It appears this unit does not. The user manual does not mention anything about it

Yes. Peak the XYZ and then repeat. Thats how we do it on all of our NECs

Of course, don't forget to loosen those two little Allen bolts on the alignment block and then re-tighten them afterwards [Wink]

Yea, we have to do the manual "XYZ's" on our NEC 1600's as well on bulb changes. Bit of a trick and time consuming, but it works.

Based on projector test pattern white at lamp 75%, what kind of peak readings am I expecting? I did the XYZ routine twice and didnt see a big improvement unlike CP200ZX LiteLOc feature which made a big difference in the brightness readings.
