Just wondering if digital IMAX is a different file than non-IMAX digital.

I can't answer the question. However, I don't see why the JPEG2000 file would be any different. IMAX Digital auditoriums aren't showing anything more in terms of native detail than what a 2K DCI JPEG2000 file provides. The IMAX setup is merely a little bit larger than conventional 2K houses and not any larger than some 2K houses with giant sized screens.

The digital file would not need to be "DMR" enhanced since the projector setup has the same native resolution as a standard 2K setup.

Yes, it is a different print. Currently all digital IMAX prints are mastered by IMAX.

I only know that the prints and KDM's for the IMAX system are specific. I don't know what the spec difference is.
