Looking for a DVD with reference level audio to set up alternate content audio channel levels on digital projection installs.
With a professional D-A like the DMA8+ or even an audio/video switcher like the Geffen/Christie cinema scaler this is no problem but I have been doing quite a few where the existing alternate content system uses a home cinema amplifier connected to the cinema processor 6 channel aux input.
Any suggestions? Is there an "official" reference level for DVD audio comparable to that used by Dolby et al? I hope to have the DVD program sound level roughly the same as the DC server audio level when switching between sources at the 6 channel aux input.
