Hello,
I have a CP2210 with the CDXL-14M lamp. The manual indicates that I should be able to drop the power on the lamp to 50%. I can't go any lower than 70% (the menu stops at 70%). Does anyone here have any experience with this? I'm shooting just a little too bright and would like to be able drop another 10%. Any suggestions on how to drop my brightness a little?

You're going to have lamp strike problems if you go below about 65%. Possibly Christie changed their software so we don't have this option and won't be pestering tech support about lamps not striking.
This is a fairly big problem for 2D/3D systems: you need a high power lamp to hit the 3D light spec but that puts the lamp at an unstable power level for 2D.
I would live with the hot light in 2D. Changing lamps between formats would be a bit much. That's not so bad on a Barco with the removable lamp module (still crazy expensive and inconvenient though).
