Just out of Curiosity, According to Box office.com Green Lantern is playing on 3816 screens does anyone no how many of those are digital vs 35mm?

I read on some website yesterday GL was 70% digital. Don't remember the site, though.

I'd like to know how much the box office $$ and admissions are for 2D and for 3D... I'd like to see the breakdown. Is there a site that I can see that info? Or do the studios not want to give it out?

3D's been hovering around the 45 to 50% mark for most of the recent releases. It'll be interesting to see the ratio on "Transformers."

on a side note: Heard that Fandango sales for HP7:II has 2D running way far ahead of 3D presales.

I heard the 3D version of HP has some phoney fake right eye shit going on. That rules out IMAX and digital - even though I am more than willing to pay MORE for IMAX. Looks like 35mm for me.

The article on Green Lantern there on Box Office Mojo stated -

so 2711/3816 were 3D, 71%.

As for digital, I don't see a figure on it.

EDIT: No, those figures are wrong, that is number of locations that played it in digital, not screens. It played on 7,200 screens, but they don't say how many were digital, or 3D. Sorry.

I'm running it in 35mm Tech-3D, but IMO, I thought a lot
of the 3-D work and effects in the movie were kinda cheezy.
