Does anyone know if a mouse and keyboard can be hooked up to a local Sony PJT Terminal on a SRX-R320?

On the DoReMi server there is a mouse & keyboard port that we have in use that enables us to do the following....

On the ingest window we can hold ctrl and click on multiple DCP's or we can click on a DCP and hold ctrl-A to select all DCP's.

In the elements window we can do the same as above (haven't tried Ctrl-A yet)

Press a letter to jump to an element starting with said letter as in windows.

Use the up/down cursors to navigate etc.

Can anything similar be done with a Sony PJT?

Depends a lot on the implementation.
Different versions of the PJT mount exist. Some have USB ports.
The display itself I don't believe does.
In either case you could theoretically attach a powered USB hub to the ingest port (DO NOT PUT AN UNPOWERED DEVICE BIGGER THAN A USB MEMORY STICK ON IT, THE PS CAN'T TAKE IT!) and attach whatever you like.

Alternatively, the server has USB and PS/2 ports. You could just as easily run an extension cable from one of those out of one of the utility openings in the cabinet.

In all cases, Sony probably doesn't want you to do that.

Then again, they don't make it at all difficult to get root on the SMS server or CHIPS.
