We're currently working out the details on our conversion to digital projection and I'm trying to find out the dimensions of the actual pedestal base that the projectors sit on.

In the ground floor projection booths at our drive-in, we have concrete pedestals that the existing projectors sit on to elevate the projected beam above the roof of the cars. I was just trying to find out if we're going to have to make the pedestals bigger to accommodate the new bases.

Anybody got a tape measure handy?

I have this pedestal/rack for my Christie CP2210:

Christie Rack Mount Pedestal

The specifications say "Width 25.24" (676mm) Length 36.78" (1034mm)"

It's my understanding that this same pedestal can be used with many Christie digital projectors, and you change the orientation for larger ones. My projector, being a smaller one, sits with the narrow edge facing the screen; a larger projector would have the rack turned 90 degrees so the wide edge would be facing the screen.

As far as I know, the Ituna theatre is still operating. Paul, the old guy who owned and operated it "forever" died about ten years ago, and his brother and sister kept it going for a few years after that until they sold it to a fellow from Saskatoon. The big attraction for him was apparently the fact that the Ituna theatre has a stage, and he is a professional magician so he had his own venue for his act. A couple of years later those folks decided to either sell it or close it so they could move to Alberta, and someone who lives in Ituna then bought it and I'm pretty sure it's still up and running.

I looked at it when they were thinking of closing it, with the idea that I might buy some of their equipment. But decided there was nothing there that I wanted.

We have our NEC digital projector sitting on kitchen cabinets - the pedestals are just too expensive and the cabinets give us storage space.
