A year ago I purchased a used Christie LX35. It was in excelent condition with lamp counter showing 600 hours. At about 800 I noticed that projection is a bit dark. The whole thing was slowly progressing and now at 840 hours it got even more dark and watching is unpleasant even in very dark room.
There are no warning signs or anything else that could indicate a problem.
Is it really a lamp I should replace or there are some other parts (like mirrors or smth) which could cause this problem?

It's quite common for the mercury lamp inside the lamp module to gradually fade when age gets on them ...
Time for a new lamp module.
but, after replacement, if you can operate like this, put the new module on "economy" mode through the projector's menu so the lamp will last longer.
