We're thinking of another theater within our space.. but it will be a luxury screening room type -- looking into the best quality blu ray / dvd projector ---
the choices are dizzying

the room will fit about 35 - 40 luxury seats.

since nec dropped the small 800 of the serries one there is no small screening room d cinema machine that I know of

I'd say look beyond the CP2210. You can't do Dolby 3D on it, and working on it is a truly horrible experience. It's predecessors track record for reliability is, in my experience, appalling.

Barco DP2K12C is in reality about an inch bigger all round than the Christie CP2210. The Barco can do Dolby 3D, and isn't a horrible knuckle skinning, headache inducing thing to work on.
