It seems that Technicolor has stopped listing what trailers are on the trail mix drives along with the programming suggestions. Does anyone know of a source for this information besides looking at the file list on the server. Having the trailers listed by distributor is very useful.

I believe they've started e-mailing the document each week instead of printing it out and shipping with the drive.

In addition to email, they started faxing it, too. I did ask them to stop faxing since email is sufficient.

Give it a couple of weeks and DeLuxe will be doing this procedure also ....
I've notice a lot of businesses are cutting back on paper usage and rather do thing via the email system..or as mentioned, using the fax delivery.

With technicolor, they are sending their content over the technicolor thingest to my site and emailing the trailer listing and the movie content information. i wish deluxe would start doing this to stop the cost of shipping drives out.

Deluxe does have their own version of the TML thingest, through EchoStar, and does send trailers and features through it.

"thingest" ?
Is that short for something? IE, "thin client ingest"? Or is it just a made-up name for some piece of equipment.

I've never been curious enough to ask them what if anything ThinGest stands for.
