We have a color issue with one of our NEC1200 projectors. Everything goes green. It will happen at different points in the movie. It happens when different movies play in that theater so it's not the movie files. We swapped the IMB with another screen, but no luck.

Put up a white test pattern and see if you get garbage in the white...maybe some streaking and such.

I would look towards the formatters and more likely the cabling to them. NEC uses a "honkin" connector thingy that is not really securely connected to the ICP module. Make sure it is plugged into its socket and the two clip thingys are trying to hold it in place. Note, the pins on that gynormous plug are VERY fragile and can break easily so only straight in/out should be used if unplugging/plugging that connector. There is also the reseating of the various board (particularly the ICP). CAUTION You MUST have the ability to "re-marry" the ICP if you pull ANY of those cards in the NEC or it will never clear the red tail light and play another encrypted movie!

Thanks funny Steve because we were told the same thing about the plugs. We disconnected and reconnected the plug. It worked for a day then it screwed up again. Then they updated the firmware. Now it seems to be okay. We'll keep an eye on it. Thanks for the tip.
