Hi all, We have an NEC NC800c in the UK and need to install it in a venue with a very short projection throw. Before I ask around the usual UK suppliers can anybody tell me if lenses from other machines/manufacturers will fit the NEC 800?
The lens mount is in the form of a mounting-ring that clamps around the body of the lens. The mounting-ring has 3 pins that then engage with the projector.
It may be that mounting ring could fit other lenses (it is removable) but I do need to retain the power zoom.

By the way - this NEC is fitted with a later-type lens mount and is NOT the lens mount shown in the NEC manual which is totally different.

Something aftermarket may work, but I'd call the manufacturer and inquire with them before going further.
