We're running a Christie CP 2200 with a Dolby DSS 200 and a Dolby DFC 100 on one of our screens and a new problem I have never seen started to occur.
While running 3D content (and 3D content only) red lines appear intermittently on screen over the content. These lines run the width of the screen and appear in different spots and cover different percentages of the screen (half of the screen, a quarter of the screen, etc.) These lines only flash on the screen for less than a second. We tried the old stand-by of hard reboots on both the projector and the server with no improvement. The fact that it only occurs during 3d content leads me to believe it is a 3d processor issue, but I just don't know.
Any ideas? Light engine maybe?
Thanks in advance.
Thanks.

It is likely an ICP issue but there are things to try...particularly if it is semi-regular.
Does it appear on "both" eyes?
Try this...run the player in 3D mode (whatever your normal mode is) and then on the projector use a different channel and select only HDSDI-A if clear, then look at just HDSDI-B.
If it is a bandwidth issue on the ICP...it will again fall on the ICP to handle switching the images.
Oh...and there are the usual questions...are you on current software on both the server and the projector?

Also check SDI cables, and look into the SDI error logs.
