I know a few companies are coming out or have app's for interfacing with their equipment. What companies do you know have apps?

Integ for the jniors has an Ipad/iphone app. they are coming out with an android version soon I believe.

QSC has an app.

VNC has an app. for both android and ipad.

Anyone else? Anyone else use a tablet to service or interact with D-cinema equipment?

I have a 4-plex and a 3-plex with Doremi servers, NEC projectors and Dolby CP750s. I set up two simple, low-powered Windows XP machines running VNC and the other proprietary control software, and I just connect via VNC to them using iPad/iPhone: I suppose it'll work just as well with a cost effective Android device like the new Nexus 7, as long as there's a decent VNC client available. That way, I can access every subsystem through a single app, or monitor several screens at the same time... and on top of that, I can also use OSX/Linux machines to control projectors and audio remotely. Sure a TMS or a custom control software for iOS/Android would be better, but this is cheap and fairly functional.

Sonys new SRX-R515 projector gas iPad and Android apps.

Otherwise, VNC clients are probably good for most jobs.

There are also some nice powerpoint remote controls with on-device preview.
