Hi Guys

I know this has been touched on within these forums before but has anybody successfully been able to bring either the series one or two out of standby using a macro as the last time i read anything about this no one had been able to. [Confused]

NEC lists such a command (I only looked for series 2 in their command sheet. It is called Power On and Off

Power On takes the form of:

02H 00H 00H 00H 00H 02H

Power off takes the form of:

02H 01H 00H 00H 00H 03H

The first two bytes are the commands, the middle bytes are the projector ID, Model Code, Data Length (00 in this case so no Data byte) and then the Check sum...which they are only interested in the lower 8 bits in each word.

My guess is that series 1 would be the same though I know the port numbers are different between series 1 and series 2.

Thanks for the reply and yes you are correct the nec does list
a power up and a power off and whilst the power off works however the power on doesn't. I was just wondering if anybody had managed to make it work.
