Can anyone tell me if the DP-100 can be wired to run off single-phase instead of three-phase without the use of additional equipment such as an "add-a-phase"?

Extremely unlikely. The lamp power supply is the only part that uses 3 phase (I think). I strongly doubt that it can be powered from single phase.

I know this has been done with a 32B. Barco did this at one of the big shows, Cinemacon or Showeast because of the lack of 3 phase. However doing this voids any warranty.

It's been awhile, but the DP100 has 3 power supplies. I believe we supplied ours with 3 phases and a ground, no neutral. That to me could indicate that each supply needed 208 volts to operate. Is your DP100 still operating? We pulled ours for a DP23B or else I'd check it out. You'd have to figure out how to rewire the pedestal to supply the third power supply from the 2 legs you have. That would increase the current draw on your 2 phases.We've run ours with a blown supply and it pulls a 6K lamp down to 4K, so it might be possible to just run two supplies and a smaller lamp.
Obvious response-what does Barco say?

There are 2 versions of the power supply. One build by Barco. One build by Irem. You should check witch one you have (and consider if you need to run it at full power).

I am looking into this for someone else and I do not have the unit yet, but it is coming out of a theatre that had 3 phase.

There is a good chance that where it's going, they can get away with a lesser wattage bulb than a 6.5k, but how small of a bulb would it have to be to run on single phase?

I will check with Barco, but I figured if it can be done, someone on here has done it!

Voiding the warranty is obviously not of concern on this DP-100. I know that modifying the 32B would void its warranty.

Uff, I would not change to a single phase, there is a reason why they chose 3 phase I think.
Don't forget that the newer models are more power efficient therefor you can't use the specs and requirements of the later models for the DP100 after all, they are sensitive machines and like cookies, they need love (I mean 9 engines for one single machine, that is already way too far!).
