SMPTE has established a technical committee to review and update standards and recommended practices for cinema sound systems. As part of this process, the committee needs to investigate the procedures and equipment currently used to ensure the optimum sound quality in an auditorium. The committee invites those actively involved in cinema sound system adjustment and quality tests to participate in a survey to gain insight into currently used procedures and equipment.
