I had upgared Cat.790 for CP650. Cp650 with software 2.3.6.3. it wasn't allowed surround 7.1. I using Server GDC SX-3000 Standalone with projector Christie Solaria One Serial 2 - CP2210. So it can't allowed surround 7.1.
And i had system Christie Solaria One connect with CP650 with Cat 790. It wasn't allow 7.1
Pls help me and everybody have any solution that help us to fix it ?

You need 2.3.6.6 for 7.1. It is not free of charge, you need to ask Dolby.

Note too...depending on the vintage of the CP650...if it is older than when 2.3.4.4 came out, you won't have lip-sync delay avaliable without first loading 2.3.4.4 (also not free).

The theatre HAS a CP650...the CP650 DOES support 7.1 audio. The "you should use processor A, B or C" are not proper or helpful responses.

They may be good responses if one was in search a new processor or was going to install a 7.1 system and was asking for equipment suggestions.

Also make sure your AES interconnect cable is wired for 7.1! It is a different connection on the CP650 end for 7.1 as opposed to 5.1 sound.
