Hi guys.i'm just wondering if anyone is using a dolby show library & if so what have you found to be the pros & cons with the system.I don't have a an actual tms library here at the cinema .i am using screen 1 projector as a master & running the other screens as slaves using the built in dolby software on the dss200 so basically i have a tms without an actual tms server.we are looking to incorporate a show library for storage & seeing as i have dolby showstores here at the cinema we are thinking of going down that route but would like to hear your opinions on what you think is a good reliable show library.
thanks

Pete

Having a DSL 100/200 will have an identical look/feel/performance to what you are doing right now. It is really just a big storage device that runs the TMS software. It does backup the databases of the individual servers too...that is handy. That is, if you swap out a server or run an INSTALL disc and have serial cues...the DSL100/200 will rebuild that list. That sort of thing.

Thanks for that steve.I figured as much that it would be the same way that i am using now.It was one of the reasons i was thinking of getting the dolby showstore in the first place.
