You need to have/buy/rent a suitable light meter. If your installer calibrated the sensor during the installation properly, you may get a rough estimate of your light level through the Barco Communicator software.

you can check the Fl level by pluging in the communicator to what ever barco pro you are trying to check

and click on service " right side of display

on the left you will see the current light output box on the left hand side. it sill show the footlambert at its current level

Our Barco communicator says we are currently running on 34fl
yet it thinks the lamp is off (it isn't)
and clo mode enabled > set target 14fl.

The lamp off is a small bug in the communicator software when the lamp is running at it's bare minimum.
