Hi Guys!
I ingested a CPL in Doremi, DSS200 and DSS220 servers, and the DSS220 file doesn't work! All fine with other servers.
I tried with two DSS220 servers, one with 4.5.4.2 version and the second one with 4.6.0.31 version, with the same result.
Control screen shows 'selection contains unsupportable clip(s)'.

Yes, the open red box is an unsupported format. It isn't a function of the server so much as a function of the mediablock or IMB. There is likely something about that clip that it is throwing up the red box...like the frame rate or resolution, encoding...etc. The CAT745 is slowing getting the number of formats that CAT862 supported but they are definitely not all there!

Also, I would update to 4.6.1 (4) on the DSS220 as that will yield maximum compatibility. However, I don't think 4.6.1 improved upon 4.6.0 with respect to formats. The currently supported formats are:

DSS200 or DSS220 with CAT745 IMB
JPEG 2000 4K 2D: 24, 25
JPEG 2000 2K 2D: 24, 25, 48, 60
JPEG 2000 2K 3D: 24, 25, 48, 60
MPEG2: 24, 25, 48, 60

DSS200 with CAT862 IMB
JPEG 2000 2K 2D: 24, 25, 30, 48, 50, 60
JPEG 2000 2K 3D: 24, 25, 30
MPEG2: 23.98, 24, 25, 29.97, 30

DSS100 with DSP100 IMB
JPEG 2000 2D: 24, 48
JPEG 2000 3D: 24
MPEG2: 23.98, 24, 29.97, 30

As you can see, with the exception of 4K, the CAT862 has the widest range of formats.

The DCP was 30ftp.
They are changing it to 24ftp.

See...now I would have been more inclined to recommend 60fps if it is 30fps original...there shouldn't be any motion artifacts that way...the file size will probably double though.

Almost every time I've seen this 'warning' it's been because of a frame-rate error,
usually a DCP encoded at 30fps instead of 24.

While we're on the topic- - I have access to about 8 digital screens in various
locations. I have a clip that I accidently DCP encoded at 30fps instead of 24.
The 30fps DCP plays OK on all but one screen, where I get the "unsupported format"
message. The equipment in each auditorium is identical, and as far as I know
all the software versions should be the same, since it was all installed at the
same time. Anybody have any ideas why it would play OK in all the auditoriums
except for that one? Is there a way to "lock out" a frame rate in configuration?
Where whould that happen? In the projector? In the IMB?

Just curious, since I re-encoded the clip at 24fps & it plays everywhere now.
